I tried Morrowind on Xbox years ago; it didn't take. Then I played Fallout 3. Now I can approach Oblivion with the proper deference. It is hella vast.

I played Morrowind idk how many different times until I finally got sucked into it. Once your character gets stronger and you get deeper into the quests and story, it's great. Oblivion's awesome but Morrowind has a special place in my collection.
@Soyle-sama That's good to know. The first time I played, I had a poor grasp of the mechanics. I tried to be an assassin who only ever fought bare-handed, and my skill distributions were pretty random. I think I'd do much better if I tried again. But it'll be a while before that happens...
Yeah that about sums up my problem. I kept making new characters and them just being terrible because I had no understanding of skilling a character that way. Once I got a decent character built though it was much easier to get sucked into. I really miss some of the things they took out of the game for Oblivion such as spear-type weapons. Potions that let you hover/fly, and all those other little things.
